Description
For sample adults and sample children who were ever told by a doctor or other health professional that they had asthma (ASTHMAEV [1997 forward]) and who had an asthma episode/attack in the past 12 months (ASTHATAKYR [1997-2009]), ASTHERYR identifies those who visited an emergency room or urgent care center because of their asthma during the past 12 months.
Universe
- 1997-2009: Sample adults age 18+ and sample children under age 18 who had an asthma attack/episode in the past 12 months.
- 2010: Sample children LE 17 years who were ever told they had asthma.
