For sample children under age 18, CANCERYR reports responses to the question, "During the past 12 months, has a doctor or other health professional told you that [sample child] had ... Cancer?"

For 1997 forward, CANCEREV identifies sample adults who were ever diagnosed by a doctor or other health professional as having cancer or a malignancy of any kind.

Comparability
