For sample adults who had received formal training or certification in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) (CPRTRAIN), CPRTRAINYR reports the number of years since the person received such training. Answers to CPRTRAINYR were recorded in grouped year categories, as follows: (1) 1 year ago or less, (2) More than 1 year but not more than 2 years ago, (3) More than 2 years but not more than 5 years ago, and (4) More than 5 years ago.
