For sample children age 4 to 17 who had been prescribed or had taken prescription medication for emotional problems in the past 6 months (DIFRX6MO), DIFRXOTHER indicates whether the medication was first prescribed by "someone else," that is, someone other than a family doctor (DIFRXFAMD) or a mental health professional (DIFRXMHPROF).
