For sample children age 4 to 17 who had at least minor difficulties with emotions, concentration, behavior or being able to get along in the past 6 months (EMODIFFYN, EMODIFF), DIFTSPSCH indicates whether, in the past 6 months, the child attended a school for students with such difficulties.
For children age 4 to 17 with at least minor difficulties with emotions, concentration, behavior, or being able to get along in the past 3 months, interviewers also asked whether they received treatment or counseling from:
- a regular school's program for students with emotional/behavioral problems (DIFTSCHPROG)
- school personnel(DIFTSCHPER)
Universe
- 2010: Sample children age 4 to 17 who currently have or have had at least minor difficulties with emotions, concentration, behavior, or being able to get along in the past 6 months.
