Description
For sample adults who delayed, had trouble, or were unable to get care from a hospital emergency room during the past 12 months (ERDELAYR), ERDCOPAY identifies those who reported that the delay was due to not having money for the co-payment.
Sample adults who indicated that they had delayed, had trouble or were unable to get care from a hospital ER were asked, "What were the reasons you delayed or had trouble getting care from a hospital emergency room?" From a flashcard, respondents selected all reasons that applied.
