For sample adults included in the Quality of Life supplement (QOL10FLAG) who acknowledged having difficulty communicating in their usual language (LACOMDIFEGO) or who had difficulty having their speech understood by others (LACOMDIFOTHS), LACOMDIFASHY reports whether the reason for the problem was "because you sometimes talk too fast, feel shy or have trouble expressing yourself."
