Improvement of the data and documentation depends, in part, on feedback from users who share with us their suggestions and observations about errors, inconsistencies, and lack of clarity in the data and documentation. We ask users to notify us about any errors or problems they encounter or to make suggestions about how the materials could be improved. If the error you recognize is legitimate and substantial, we'll happily send you a complimentary IHIS MUG.

Technical Assistance

If you are having difficulties with the IHIS extract system, data, or documentation, please email the User Support team for assistance. Note that if you are requesting assistance with a particular IHIS data extract, you should include both the email address with which you registered at IHIS and the name of the data extract with which you are requesting help. Without this information, there may be a delay in responding to your email.

Tell Us How You Used IHIS

Continued funding for IHIS depends on our demonstrating that the data are widely used. We request that users tell us about any publications, research reports, or educational materials they have created using the IHIS data or documentation. We welcome information (including author, title, date, and other standard citation material, such as journal name and volume) about books, educational materials, or papers to satisfy a course requirement that draw upon IHIS data or documentation.
