For sample adults age 18 and over who were ever told they have glaucoma in 1991, (GLAUCOMAEV), and persons age 18 and over who have ever been told by a doctor that they have diabetes in 1989, this variable identifies whether respondents were using medication for glaucoma at the time of the interview.
